Akwe’go Program

About the Program

The Akwe’go program is specifically designed to provide support, tools, healthy activities, and life skills targeted to the urban indigenous children between the ages of 7 to 12. This program builds upon healthy choices of daily living, as well as incorporating traditional cultural teachings and values.

The objective for the children involved in the program is to enhance their skills, knowledge, attitude, and values, and to demonstrate positive personal choices throughout their lives, during and after the program.
